Le CinéMo
Launched in 2025 with the aim of bringing arthouse cinema to those who lack access to it, the CinéMo mobile cinema travels across French towns and villages to offer free, open-to-all film screenings . Designed to share a passion for cinema with as many people as possible, it screens bold and unifying films and complements its screenings with workshops on film appreciation and introduction to cinema tailored to all audiences.
CinéMo plans its itineraries in collaboration with municipalities, intermunicipal associations, and local organizations, primarily in rural areas and priority neighborhoods.

Introducing the mobile cinema

Born of the desire to share art-house cinema with those who don't have access to it, the CinéMo travels the length and breadth of France to screen audacious, rallying films, create spaces for dialogue and exchange, and share the passion of the 7th art with as many people as possible.

Designer interviews
With this mobile cinema, Camille Chardayre, co-founder of Prémices and Co, and Jean-François Aimé, Creative Director, propose a response that is at once formal, sensitive and committed, echoing Jacques Tati's humanist vision: "Cinema is a pen, paper and hours of observing the world and its people.
Guided by this approach, they imagined a mobile cinema designed to go out and meet audiences, in a spirit of observation, listening and proximity. Their approach is in line with a desire to make culture accessible, particularly in isolated, rural or suburban areas. The choice of "fresh butter" yellow - a warm, familiar color, inspired by public service vehicles - is a strong visual signal, capable of uniting and creating a direct link with users. This luminous yellow, identifiable throughout France, transforms the truck into a comforting and welcoming cultural landmark. They designed a simple, monolithic, satin-finish shape, marked by geometric flat tints, that asserts its contemporary identity while remaining rooted in a tradition of service. The subtle contrast between yellow and violet, an absorbing and soothing color, enhances the cinematic experience, giving this traveling cinema an atmosphere that's intimate, comfortable and open to all.
"Mobility and making culture accessible are among the missions we support through our projects, and here, for the first time, through a mobile object such as the CinéMo. [...] Reaching out to audiences who aren't city dwellers is a creative commitment we're committed to, with the social and solidarity mission that this implies." Jean-François Aimé
